About the job
DC Lund operates in a global environment within the product group Parts. Alfa Laval’s Distribution Centre (DC) in Lund supplies components to heat exchangers, at the right quality to a competitive price and according to agreed deadlines and deliveries. We work in line with Alfa Laval Production System (ALPS) following the four priorities Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
Your responsibility will be to identify, plan and implement continuous improvement projects according to the Lean Six Sigma methodology or Alfa Laval Promal. You will take an active, hands on part of driving the projects and implement them. You will support in problem solving and improvement activities in the organization.
You will be a member of DC Lund’s management team and you will participate in making the operational plan. The position is based in Staffanstorp and you will report to the Factory Manager.
What you know
We are looking for a skilled project manager with a good business understanding and experience from working with process improvements.
You have a minimum 5 years’ experience of project management and good skills in cross functional and cross-cultural relations.
The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent and at least 5 years’ experience from global production/manufacturing company. You also have:
* Proven leadership and management skills.
* Experience from improvement tools, Six Sigma
* Experience from lean manufacturing
* Fluency in Swedish and English.
